November last year, The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) together with the Philippine Post Office, presented a 150yrs Bonifacio 10-peso commemorative coin and stamp to the President. By December of the same year, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) announced its circulation.

Although currently there’s no official words from BSP yet, we’re might be looking at a 150 Mabini commemorative coin in circulation, possibly later this later year.

In 2011 BSP has issued 1-peso legal tender commemorative coins for the 150th birth anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal.
